Pamela J. Thomas | Timothy W. Thomas, Sr. | Karen S. Washington

Pamela J. Thomas

Pamela J. Thomas is an ordained minister and President of Christ for the World Ministries, Inc. She is a native of Indianapolis, Indiana, and can be characterized as a woman who loves God and has as her primary purpose, to fulfill His will for her life by releasing those in the body of Christ into their God ordained purpose, and bringing souls into the Kingdom. Her apostolic, prophetic ministry is both national and international in scope. Her call to ministry occurred after she received the baptism of the Holy Spirit at 12 years of age. Being a child she was well aware that she must mature and be prepared for the work that God had called her to, so she kept this call in her heart and never allowed anyone or anything to remove it.

As part of her preparation for future ministry, God gave her a thirst for knowledge and a desire for excellence in all that she aspired to accomplish. She graduated from high school with honors and received a scholarship to attend Purdue University where she majored in Sociology and Languages. Upon completion of her B.A. Degree, she was awarded a fellowship to study as a Fulbright Scholar in Colombia, South America. While in Colombia, God opened doors for her to do missions work in a barrio in Bogotá, which marked the beginning of her international ministry. Pamela went on to obtain her Masters Degree from Indiana University in Sociology the following year.

Although Minister Thomas has worked in several social agencies, and in local high schools, she has continued in the work of the Lord, entering full time ministry in 1997. It was two years later that God gave her the vision to start Christ for the World Ministries. She has been very active in ministry over the years teaching and preaching in jails and prisons, women’s groups, young people’s convocations, church congregations, conferences, and in whatever capacity God has commissioned her. She serves on the Indiana Strategic Prayer Network as an intercessor. She is continuing her missions focus as she ministers in countries in Asia, Africa, Europe, the Middle East, and South America. She is an author, having written the book, How to Protect Your Mind, a training manual, A Practical Guide to Altar Ministry, and Mentoring with a Mission, a curriculum for mentor training.

Pamela is an Associate minister of New Wineskin Ministries, where the Senior Pastor is Byron V. Johnson. She serves on the leadership team in the areas of ministry liaison, training, and as advisor to ministries. She believes the Scripture in John 4:35 that, “the harvest fields are white already to harvest”, and that God is desirous of those who will accept the challenge to reap this harvest.

Christ for the World ministry team includes the following ministers, Timothy W. Thomas, Karen S. Washington, Ronald and Gloria Thomas, Gina M. Harding, and Mary Thomas. As a team they have accepted the challenge to “work while it is day, because night cometh, when no man can work (John 9:4).”

Timothy W. Thomas Sr.

Timothy W. Thomas, Sr. is an ordained minister of the Gospel. A native of Indianapolis, Indiana, he has resided in Washington State for over 30 years with his wife, Frances, and is the father of four adult children. Minister Thomas served 2 years active duty and 5 years active reserve in the U.S. Navy. It was after his service in the military that he received Jesus as his Lord and was filled with the Holy Ghost. His call to the ministry came shortly thereafter. He is thankful that God saved him from a life without real purpose to a life filled with the blessings and goodness of God. Because he previously put all of his energies into a life without Christ, he purposed in his heart to do much more for the cause of Christ and the establishment of His Kingdom once he became born again.

Minister Thomas served 12 years as Assistant pastor at Emmanuel Church at Embassy Center of Bremerton, Washington. He is presently Associate Elder at Grace Temple Church in Seattle, Washington, pastored by Bishop Roland Hairston. He has served in various capacities in the Council of the Pacific Northwest District. His main thrust in ministry is awakening the Body of Christ to the task at hand of winning souls into the Kingdom. He has a special anointing to work with young people, and is a regular speaker at youth explosions, camps and convocations. He is a speaker for men’s events, as well as for church congregations and conferences. He and his wife Frances are also featured speakers at marriage seminars around the country. Timothy travels internationally teaching and preaching as he equips ministers and laborers in the harvest of souls.

Elder Thomas is employed at the Department of Defense in Bremerton. He is anticipating the day when he can minister full time. He serves as a Kitsap County Civil Commissioner, having been a board member of Forest Ridge, Mission Creek, and works with city gang intervention. He holds a bachelor’s degree in Liberal Arts from Evergreen State College. A scripture which characterizes how Minister Thomas feels about the place of the Church in establishing the Kingdom is found in Matthew 11:12, which says, “And from the days of John the Baptist until now the kingdom of heaven suffereth violence, and the violent take it by force.”

Karen S. Washington

Karen S. Washington was born in Indianapolis, Indiana. She became a spirit-filled believer over 27 years ago and has served the Lord faithfully through the years. Karen received her call to the ministry under the pastorate of the late Bishop Morris E. Golder. She was ordained and presently serves as an Associate Minister at New Beginning Ministries International, pastored by Bishop J. LaVerne Tyson. One of her great desires has been to serve the Lord wherever He opens the doors for ministry. She has been blessed by God with a prophetic and teaching anointing that enables her through practical teaching to break old paradigms and traditional mindsets that hold many in bondage both within and outside of the church. She has a ministry of deliverance to bring wholeness and healing to those who are bound.

Minister Karen feels that because we are close to the return of the Lord, the church of Jesus Christ must arise to the challenge of fighting the good fight of faith as warriors in His army. To this end, she frequently teaches in the area of spiritual warfare and intercessory prayer, and believes that God is yet raising up men, women, and youth for His end-time army. Her favorite scripture is Luke 10:19, which states, Behold, I give unto you power to tread on serpents and scorpions, and over all the power of the enemy: and nothing shall by any means hurt you. She is a speaker for women’s groups, church congregations, and has served as Adelphe School of Ministry Executive Administrator and Instructor. She is also a member of the World Prayer Team.

Karen is married to Allan Washington and together they have three children. She is employed in the social service field helping individuals to become self sufficient. As secretary of Christ for the World Ministries, she serves on the official board as well as a part of the ministry team. Karen received her Associate’s and Bachelor’s degrees from Indiana Wesleyan University. Her future plans are to continue training in ministry and to travel internationally.
